Still Poems

Who are you really, my lovely lady?
Your name, how I long to know it earnestly
Your beautiful face is always on my mind
Why is it only now that you, I only find?
Why that we haven't met before?
Special feelings for you, I couldn't hide no more
That I like you, having courage in telling it
Fate is unfair, this I have regret.
I'm sorry that I'm being persistent
In saying these words I really meant,
That you can be love by me
Eventhough we could never be.
I know this time it's impossible now
Yet in my heart, a promise I will vow
In me, You have a special part
Because there might already someone who owns your heart.

Moment that I am with you
Is something so very special
For your love, all I got to do is woo
And hope now it will be for real.

The simpleness in you, I see
And beauty that is so precious
Reason for a person I've longed to be
To say that I like you, I'm serious.

A chance I have to take
It's with you, I want to share
Do anything for your sake
Show how much I really care.

Now we're far apart because you're distant
Of the bitter memories, it's poignant
When a moment that I have to loaf,
I felt being dreary or just do the scuff.

Prithee that I have wanted to be with you
That I act so queer or being a schmoe
The hurt, I'll find something to assuage
Hoping that in me, I can muster courage.

Long time that I yearn for your love
What I've got to do is beseech from above
Someday, we might meet again, "quien sabe"?
Reason that we never never know, what will be, will be.

More Poems

AIDS

We must be concerned of this plague
No cure found yet on studies of any drug
Around our world it had rapidly spread
Whites, Blacks, Asians or Hispanics begun to dread.
Doing sexual pleasures, IV-user addicts, or gays are afflicted
The desolation on their faces were reflected
Accepting the truth, their lives have wither;
Their heart and spirit were in a fetter.
We don't condone them, but to comprehend
Support they very much need, we must lend
They're treated as wretch, despise and scorn,
Voices muffled, an angst, have felt forlorn.
Let us open our hearts, be concerned of their plight,
Instead of showing indignation or spite
Stand dauntless, their time is drifting, but cope
Searching for the light, a yen of hope.

PAINTING

Imagine a kaleidoscope of visions
Making of an illimitable of creations
A plethora of images and shapes
Whether still lifes or landscapes.
Reds, whites, yellows, blacks and blues
Of the different strokes and hues
Some are fuzzy, or vague, and others real
May it be either an abstract or surreal.
Mediums are watercolors, oils, or acrylic
Subjects were avant-garde or psychedelic
To assuage your angst, in zest or rapture
Through the canvas, message you want to capture.
Passion for being a dilettante of art
You must have to ken and within your heart
With an inspiration, you're swank or quaint
Doing a masterpiece, it's "joie de vivre" to paint.
Someday, you truly can make a name
A successful exhibit, a step toward fame
Your dream will not be that far
With the masters you'll be at par.

POEMS

I. There some moments you are down
That you can't help but frown
Feeling it seems a long day
When problems come your way.
If you're afraid to face your fear
The hurts and pains you could no longer bear
Until you couldn't control your rage
All you need is to have the courage.
In always facing life's realities
We experience sacrifices and adversities
Thinking it becomes bleak and grayer
Yet we can be strong through prayer.
What they gave every little thing
Whether the hope and joy they bring,
All problems, big or small, can be mend
With the little help from a family or friend.

II. Friendship is truly very important
Eventhough your friend isn't near
Communication with each other is pleasant
Knowing his/her presence by just being there.

III. In our life, friendship is a wonderful thing
Meeting others, of different folks with different strokes
But who you easily get along with and have a bonding
Sharing each other's pains as well as make fun of jokes.

BEING A FRIEND
Annoyed by with all that fuss
That makes you be a sourpuss
If you have problems, don't sulk
All you just have to do is talk.
Their time gave for you to spend
By just being there as a friend
A virtue that truly will last
Indeed nexus to friendship is trust.
